This beef came as a surprise to many. Tyler the Creator is a unique MC, music producer, director and prodigy, known for his brash subject matter. Iggy Azalea is the Australian blonde beauty and MC, known for her “assets” and curvaceous frame.
Both artists, who are very young and considered rising stars by many, seem to have all the reasons to collaborate and support one another. However, Tyler recently shot that idea down by throwing some major shade at Iggy during an interview on “106 & Park.”
Tyler’s gang Odd Future recently appeared on BET’s “106 & Park” where they played a game where they had to choose to marry, kiss or diss amongst three female artists.
When asked about the first line up: Rita Ora, Iggy Azalea and M.I.A., Tyler said: “I don’t want Iggy cause she stink. She got shots in her thump. I want real booty, ya feel me.”
Tyler isn’t the only shady boots in his group, either. When the line up was made up of female reality stars with leaked sex tapes: Kim Kardashian, Mimi Faust and Paris Hilton, one of the guys asked: “Who is Mimi?” And the other answered: “Hey, wasn’t she born in the 50s?”
They clearly knew how to keep the crowd rowdy and entertained with their answers and direct shade.
Iggy has since caught wind of Tyler’s opinions about her and sent out a flurry of tweets saying:
“Tyler the Creator is beyond immature. I’ve always believed you had something more to offer the world. Shame to see you be so rude.
People that make enemies and talk s**t about people they’ve never even said hi to trip me out. I see it all the time… Strange world.”
Tyler responded with what seemed to be a sarcastic apology, tweeting:
“IGGY, I DIDN’T MEAN TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS.”
“Do ya thing, get your promo no skin off my back. The energy you put out is what you eventually get back… doesn’t effect me.
We’ve never met, saying I stink on national television. Go home, grow up. Move on.”
This sudden hostility toward Iggy could be Tyler taking a stance and siding with Harlem dance-rap queen, Azealia Banks who has been feuding publicly with Iggy for years.
