It’s a beautiful moment for light skinneds right now. Their leader, Chris Brown has finally been released from jail and can now pass GO and collect $200.
Breezy served 108 days in a Los Angeles county jail after a judge ruled that he had violated his probation in the Rihanna case when he was kicked out of rehab. Then, on May 9th, while still in custody, Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin sentenced Chris to an additional 131 days because of an assault outside of a Washington DC hotel last year.
Chris was scheduled to spend a year in jail, but was released early because of his time spent in rehab, as well as credits for good behavior while behind bars.
Although he is free, Chris still has 800 hours of community service left, as well as a D.C. assault trial which should begin in the next few months.
Upon release, Breezy tweeted thanking God and said that he was "humbled and blessed." Let’s just hope he can stay out of trouble!
