Kanye West’s recent antics have proven that he deserves a weekly column for his shenanigans. His controversial appearance on both The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM and Sway in the Morning was talked about all over social media and blog sites last week. And just as we felt that it couldn’t get any worse for the temperamental visionary, he recently cursed out the sound technician on stage before abruptly walking off. According to concertgoers, his sound technician, Laura, failed to get his levels right. Kanye needs a hug.
In absolutely devastating news, actor Paul Walker died Saturday afternoon in a car crash near Los Angeles. The 40-year-old handsome star of the Fast & Furious franchise passed away after a car explosion. His team confirmed that he was a passenger in a car that exploded (the driver also lost his life) on his official and verified Facebook and Twitter accounts. Both Instagram and Twitter was flooded with an outpouring of love, respect and admiration for Paul following the tragic news. Paul’s family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.
Michael Jordan and his wife of 8 months, Yvette Prieto are expecting their first child together. After Michael’s rep confirmed that the two are indeed expecting, the rumor mill quickly began to churn about Yvette’s intentions with one of the wealthiest and most successful men of all time. After Michael’s first marriage ended, reports surfaced saying that he had a vasectomy, but Michael’s rep denies that he had the alleged vasectomy. However, an insider says: "That was part of the deal of them getting married. Yvette was pretty adamant about having children with Mike. He had the vasectomy as his first marriage ended."
Many people believe that Yvette signed a serious prenup and that this baby will provide her with immense financial security. Either way, congrats to the lovely couple!
Songstress and Love and Hip Hop star K Michelle has found herself back in the hot seat for talking recklessly once again. After a show in Washington DC, she was expected to do a walk-through at the Howard Theater after party, but some miscommunications quickly turned the evening sour. Supposedly, one of the event’s promoters advertised that K Michelle would not just do a walk-through at the event, but said that she would actually perform with a local band. Well this didn’t sit well with K and she allegedly told the audience, "‘Y’all didn’t pay me $30,000 to perform. Get that b***h (referring to the female singer of the band) to sing."
She was then booed and fans took to social media to voice their displeasure about K’s stunt, suggesting she partake in a hearty slice of humble pie. K Michelle remained unbothered, posting this on to Instagram following the incident: "Numb to the pain. Everyday’s the same. If I only had a heart."
Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is also expecting. She recently posted a photo onto her Instagram page showing off her new baby bump to her fans with the caption, "New beginnings." She hasn’t confirmed who the baby’s father is, but we’re sure that it’s not Chad Johnson. She told People magazine: "I am so excited to announce a wonderful blessing - I’m pregnant! I’m excited about being a mommy all over again. This is something I’ve been wanting for years and I can’t believe it’s finally happening."
BBW viewers can recall seeing Evelyn and Chad visiting fertility specialists, so we know that this is something that Ev has wanted for a while. Congrats to the beautiful reality star and for all of those complaining about Evelyn having a child out of wedlock, two words: glass house.
