Right on the heels of fantastic news that Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union are now engaged to be married in September 2014 comes news that Wade had a son while separated from Gabby. Before the Heat’s game against the Nuggets last Monday night, Dwyane was quoted saying: "Like I’ve said, this is something that my family knows and my now fianceé worked through when we got back together, and understood that we wanted to continue our lives together and continue supporting our family and we’re going to do that... That’s what I’ve always done." He continued to say: "I had a time a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy. So I’m moving on." Although Dwyane confirmed a separation last summer from Gabby, something doesn’t seem to quite be adding up. His son is said to be less than two months old meaning he was conceived sometime in February, but Instagram posts revealing an intimate Valentine’s Day shared by Gabby and Dwyane seems to show that the two were indeed together. Despite the chaos, Gabrielle’s Twitter seems to show that she is happy and moving on and Wade closed his statement with positivity as well, saying: "This is something, obviously, private for my family that we will continue to deal with... but we have a blessing to the bloodline, to the Wade bloodline."

We should all take notes from Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhané Wallis. The 10-year-old became the youngest female star to be nominated for the "Best Actress" Academy Award last year and is now expected to earn $1.5 million for the ‘Annie’ remake which is set for a Christmas 2014 release. She is said to have a $750,000 base salary, plus a $750,000 bonus if the movie is received well, 5% of profits, 5% of all merchandising and 10% of sound track album royalties. Her contract also states that her name can not be listed lower than second position, and with co-stars like Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, that is certainly a huge deal! Will Smith and Jay Z will also be producing the highly anticipated film.

Sadly, the season of engagements also seems to be met with a season of infidelity! Rapper Ludacris has also announced that he is a new father, but not with his longtime girlfriend and beauty Eudoxie! A new child support lawsuit revealed that Luda had a baby outside of his relationship. The child’s mother Tamika Fuller, is said to be a friend from high school and Luda has recently filed court documents in Georgia asking the courts to cap his child support payments. He claims that he makes $25,842.41 a month so his payments should be capped at $1,754. However, gifting your girlfriend expensive cars and gaudy diamond bracelets to document onto Instagram "just because" has to be hurting rather than helping your case Luda!
