Just as quickly as Beyoncé posted up pictures on Instagram of her sporting a pixie cut, she switched up her do to an asymmetrical bob. Personally, I love both short looks, so carry on B! What I love more than her ever-changing hairstyles is the Roberto Cavalli dress she posted on tmblr. The three-quarter sleeved floor length stretch jersey dress featured gold embellishments and a V neckline. The soft greens, oranges, and whites kept the look summery but bold nonetheless. She polished off her look with a ring and a subtle gold necklace.
Emmy Rossum, a regular in my column, did it again in an adorable Rebecca Minkoff dress that she wore to the Delta Air Lines celebration. The colorfully printed bustier dress was enhanced by some choice accessories. The diamond-encrusted Bendels earrings Emmy wore and the coral Alice + Olivia ‘Dina’ lizard pumps took this dress from cute to fab.
Rooney Mara, my most favorite brooding actress, attended a screening of her latest film ‘Ain’t Them Bodies Saints’ looking minimalistically chic. She wore a Calvin Klein Collection Resort long-sleeved navy crop top paired with a black pencil skirt. With her hair slicked back and a pair of Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ sandals, Rooney must have been feeling her look because she even flashed the photogs a smile.
Jennifer Aniston looked great on the red carpet of the ‘We’re The Millers’ Berlin premiere. She wore a black Alexander McQueen capped-sleeved dress. A black leather corset belt cinched the waist of the dress that flared out into a wave panel skirt. A pair of safe round-toe Alexander McQueen pumps and a croc Givenchy clutch finished her look for the evening.
The beautiful Zhang Ziyi was caught outside of the Good Morning America studios looking fabulous. On the road promoting her latest film ‘Grandmasters’ several of her looks have caught my eye. I absolutely love this bright orange Vionnet Resort dress. The dress features a black mesh collar area and a pleated skirt. The 1920’s drop-waist look is subdued by an orange leather belt that she added to the runway look. She completed her look with a pair of Louboutin pumps, Tesiro earrings and Repossi rings.
Later that evening Zhang Ziyi attended a screening of, ‘The Grandmaster’ where she wore a J. Mendel design. Zhang wore a dark green silk-chiffon pleated gown. The gown featured a layered skirt and plunging neckline. Staying true to the designer, she carried a J. Mendel ‘Moonlight’ minaudière clutch. She finished her look with Tesiro earrings, Repossi rings and black Christian Louboutin peep-toes.
Olivia Wilde waltzed into the ‘Good Morning America’ studios to promote her latest movie, ‘Drinking Buddies.’ She looked comfortably chic in a plain black Crippin ‘Alex’ tee that she tucked into a Clover Canyon ‘Gold Panther’ fitted pencil skirt. This has to be my favorite look of the summer. This is an easily achievable look and can be styled up or down. Olivia vamped her look up with an EF Collection gold bangle and electric-blue Jimmy Choo sandals.
The Best Man, Love & Basketball, Brown Sugar, Something New, Nip/Tuck, The Family That Preys....need I go on? Who doesn’t love Sanaa Lathan?
Lately actress Sanaa Lathan has been giving me all kinds of life on Instagram! (Isnt that what the kids are saying these days lol?) The beautiful actress daily posts memes of encouragment or photos of herself getting glammed up as her and the cast of Best Man wrap for the November release of the highly anticipated sequel. Over the weekend, Sanaa, Regina Hall, and Morris Chestnut were spotted at a meet and greet at the Bronner Bros hair show in Atl. The Best Man Holiday hits theaters November 15.
