Jessica Biel, Heidi Klum, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and more make This Week's Fashion Cut

Jamie Chung attended an exclusive SPLASH event in California wearing a cute Parker design. The short summery black, white, and blue dress features a halter inspired sleeveless top that has a plunging keyhole on the front. Her waist is framed with a printed pleated skirt. This look is a far cry from what I’m used to seeing from her which is a ton of unflattering armor. You may have seen this too on the season premiere of Jamie’s latest project, ABC’s ‘Once Upon a Time.’ On the series that is based upon fairy tale characters, Jamie portrays ‘Mulan.’ Is it just me or could her character use a lot more development? She’s bringing it on the red carpet, so I’m certain she can bring it on the screen.

The beauty that is Jessica Biel was seen supporting her husband Justin Timberlake’s new film ‘Runner Runner’ at the Planet Hollywood premiere wearing Dolce & Gabbana. The saucy double-breasted suit was tailored to perfection with satin lapels and diamond buttons. Yum. She finished off her look with a Mark Cross ‘Grace’ box bag and black Giambattista Valli pumps. Hey, remember ‘7th Heaven’? Me too. Anyways...I need this outfit in my life. Way to bring it Jessica.

Actress Gemma Arterton looked stunning at the premiere of her latest film ‘Runner Runner’ wearing a Burberry design. The deep emerald gown featured a figure hugging bodice and a low back. Looks like “Gretel” is all grown up.

Now you are going to be hard pressed to find Ms. I’m-Every-Woman Heidi Klum ever off her fashion game. Perhaps that is why she landed the hosting spot on ‘Project Runway.’ As per usual, Heidi stunned on the red carpet of ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 8 Post Show Finale. She chose a beautiful Donna Karan one-shouldered design that featured a graphic print. She finished off her look with Lorraine Schwartz accessories. I have to admit, I was pleasantly suprised to discover who designed this garmet. I wouldn’t have guessed this to be a Donna Karan design but it is in line with this year’s on-trend tribal print obsession and assymetrical play. Go Heidi, Go Heidi, Go!

Model Crystal Renn attended the New Yorkers For Children Presents 14th Annual Fall Gala that benefits youth in foster care. She looked youthfully glamorous in a Gabriela Cadena gown. The gown featured a bright sequin embroidery detailing that gave off a wonderful stained-glass effect. Some Lorraine Schwartz accesories and a Judith Leiber clutch finished off her look.

Eve Hewson attended the screening of her latest movie, ‘Enough Said’ wearing a silky bubblegum-pink J. Mendel dress. The fitted bodice complimented the wispy accordion layered skirt that blew in the wind. A Smythson double zip travel wallet and grey pumps finished off her look.

Zhang Yuqi was spotted at the Cartier Collection exhibition dripping in fabulosity wearing a Zuhair Murad design. The strapless cocktail dress featured a coat that mirrored the gold-embroidered detailing. You will be hard pressed to find me wearing shoulder pads outside of playing football….but…if Zuhair Murad asked me to, the answer is yes. He did that. Zhang finished off her look with some complimentary Cartier Collection jewelry and a pair of Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ heels.

Out and About...

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands wore a beautiful Jan Taminiau gown for her very first ‘Prinjesdag’  Prince’s Day celebration as Queen. This golden beaded gown that grazed the floor featured a diamond shaped pattern that gave the illusion of volume but was a tasteful form fitting design. The same designer Jan Taminiau also designed the gorgeous royal blue dress that she wore to the Investiture of her husband King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. If these two garmets are any indication of what it means to be a Queen...sign me up. They are both feminine, unique, fashion forward and respectable. This must be royal fashion to the “Max.”
