Naomie Harris, Beyoncé, Bradley Cooper and more This Week in Fashion...

I happened upon the teaser video for Beyoncé’s upcoming release of “Grown Woman” and I love it. I cannot wait to watch the video in its entirety. From the African influences to seeing Miss Tina perched on a chair like a Queen, this will surely be a music video to remember.

Naomie Harris dazzled on the red carpet for the royal premiere of ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.’ She wore a beautiful black strapless Alexander McQueen gown. Golden embroided detailing rested on her hips and took the black gown to a glamorous place.

British beauty Sarah-Jane Crawford posted her ‘I’m A Celebrity’ event outfit on Twitter. She rocked a sleeveless Alice McCall Smithsonite dress that featured graphic print and cutouts.  Sarah paired the dress with ASOS wedges.

Hayden Panettiere, who I will always love for ‘Remember the Titans,’ attended the 2013 CMT Artists of the Year wearing a beautiful Lover ‘Commune’ jumpsuit. The jumpsuit featured a lacey halter top and a black relaxed fit pant. Hayden represented for the petite girls that night and a pair of copper pumps finished off this look.

Nicole Richie was spotted in Miami Beach looking casual and chic in an Emilio Pucci design. The look consisted of a sleeveless blue crop top and a pair of white relaxed fit pants. Blue embroidery cascaded down the sides of the pants. A pair of Manolo Blahnik ‘Tayler’ pumps and a Givenchy bag completed her fab look. Her outfit basically says “I don’t need a red carpet to look amazing...so world, have several seats.” I’m sitting down…so.

Friend-in-my-head Jennifer Lawrence attended a press conference for the highly anticipated film (okay highly anticipated by me) ‘American Hustle.’ Don’t get me wrong, I love Dior and I love that Jennifer is the face of their brand but a round of applause to her branching to different designers and looks on her latest appearances.  Jen wore a long sleeved crop top and black harem pant by Marc by Marc Jacobs. A pair of black and white graphic printed pumps took this look to the next level.

Let us have a moment of silence for the new design that made its debut on Beyoncé (Knowles) Carter’s ‘Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’ in Phoenix, Arizona. Beyoncé took the stage in a blue-hued Peter Dundas custom Emilio Pucci jumpsuit. The sleeveless skintight jumpsuit featured beautiful beaded embellishment. So much embellishment that any additional frosting would be too much.  Beyoncé tucked this jumpsuit inside a pair of Stuart Weitzman black lace-up booties.

Nicole Richie showed us all how to rock black and white at the Styletag Launch. Nicole wore a high-waist cream maxi skirt over a Lovers + Friends Dream On black ribbed turtleneck long sleeved sweater. She completed her look with a Goddess braid that wrapped around her crown and a pair of sparkling earrings.

Nina Dobrev was spotted on the red carpet of The Trevor Project’s ‘TrevorLIVE LA’ event that honored Jane Lynch. The ‘Vampires Diaries’ actress wore an Elie Saab Spring blue sleeveless gown that featured a beautiful lace bodice with button detailing and a pleated chiffon skirt.  Nina finished her look with a Rauwolf silver clutch, sapphire earrings and silver bangles.

Fashion News: Spotted

First Lady Michelle Obama looked beautiful at the 36th annual Kennedy Center Honors Gala. The First Lady wore an emerald green Marchesa design. The drop shoulder chiffon number was enhanced by some soft curls, minimal jewelry, and the ever-dapper President himself. Basically Michelle is telling the entire world to have several seats because while these ladies are running around worrying about what clutch to take to the ball….she has President Obama on her arm. Once again, I’m sitting down.

Whenever I see Bradley Cooper or Jennifer Lawrence I think of my favorite holiday movie ‘Silver Linings Playbook.’  The twosome are teaming up again for ‘American Hustle’ and Grace simply cannot wait. In the meantime I will enjoy Bradley’s wonderful fashion choices like the Vivienne Westwood MAN grey wool top coat with a contrast brown fox hair collar over a grey Todd Snyder suit. He finished off his look with a pair of Red Wing boots. The tailoring of the suitpant did make me raise an eyebrow to question a possible flood situation. But alas, I will give Bradley the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to the hem of his pants getting  caught on his boot laces. I got your back Brad!!
