"Be the change you want to see in the world." -  Mahatma Gandhi

 Luke 5:36-38

Mahatma-Gandhi-9305898-1-402He told them this parable: "No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’"

to change the place, position, or direction of; to go through a change; Example:  Shift gears: to go faster

a term used in science to describe the thinking pattern of a group of people; in epistemology (the theory of knowledge) it is defined as the thought pattern of people

Forward Thinkers

in the year of Double-Double breakthroughs, blessings, and anointing I must challenge you to enter into a paradigm shift. You must replace and change your old thought patterns. Remember, so as a man thinks so is he and your thoughts become your life’s results. Old thinking patterns can’t open up new opportunities and possibilities.

Watch this

: There was a time when the earth was thought to be flat. This idea of thinking limited people’s ability to travel.

Ask yourself this question: What has my thinking limited me from achieving?

Once someone challenged that concept of a flat earth and entered into a paradigm shift the world become wide up for people to travel.

Once you enter into a paradigm shift the world will become wide open for you to travel to new and better heights.

"The man is not holding you down your way of thinking is holding you down"

Today in Forward Thinking I’m going to show you people in the bible that entered into paradigm shifts and I’m also going to reveal to you my three paradigm shift stoppers.

Are you ready to enter where no man has ever entered before?

Judges 6:14-15 (NIV)

The Lord turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?" 15 "Pardon me, my lord," Gideon replied, "but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family."

The Lord gives Gideon an amazing assignment to lead Israel out of bondage but Gideon replies through the framework of his old thinking patterns. Gideon looks for an excuse to fail rather than enter into the world of new possibilities. The Lord has assured Gideon that he has the strength to obtain the victory over his enemies but Gideon views himself as being too weak.  Gideon’s old thinking habits were stopping him from achieving greatness.

Gideon continued to communicate with the Lord until his thinking process went through a paradigm shift. In

Judges 7:17, Gideon is now a leader and boldly declares watch me and follow me. Gideon’s paradigm shift allowed him to become all that God said he was. Forward Thinkers today I challenge you to become all the Lord said you were.

Habakkuk 1:2-4 (NIV)

How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, "Violence!" but you do not save? 3 Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing?
Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. 4 Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted.

Habakkuk, the prophet, is allowing his old thinking patterns to cause him to spend all his time complaining instead of seeking answers from the Lord. The bible is very clear that worrying and complaining does not solve anything yet like Habakkuk many people are consumed with worrying and complaining.

Forward Thinkers

complaining about the justice system (George Zimmerman and Michael Dunn cases in Florida) will not change anything. Faith without works is dead as Forward Thinkers we must escape our old thinking patterns and enter into a paradigm shift of positive action. Habakkuk stops complaining and starts praying which ignited a paradigm shift within his spirit causing him to declare the Lord is his strength. Today, I challenge you to stop complaining and get involved in the process to create the change you desire to see.

Three Paradigm Shift Stoppers

Lack of Knowledge

Poor View of Yourself

Focusing on the Opinion of Others

In conclusion Forward Thinkers remember

2 Corinthians 5:17 states we are new creations and old things (old thinking patterns) are passed away. Therefore, I challenge you to enter into a paradigm shift and become a new you.
