Sunday_SchoolAim: To lead students to accept the Holy Ghost as the promise of Jesus Christ to them personally and to encourage them to be guided by His will for their decisions and daily living.

Bible Fact: The Bible is the infallible word of God and the primary authorized written source that gives Divine instructions to all true Christians.

Bible Text: John 16:7,13

Dr. Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ tells this story of a famous oil field called Yates Pool: During the depression this field was a sheep ranch owned by a man named Yates. Mr. Yates wasn’t able to make enough on his ranching operation to pay the principal and interest on the mortgage, so he was in danger of losing his ranch.

With little money for clothes or food, his family (like many others) had to live on government subsidy.

Day after day, as he grazed his sheep over those rolling West Texas hills, he was no doubt greatly troubled about how he would pay his bills. Then a seismographic crew from an oil company came into the area and told him there might be oil on his land. They asked permission to drill a wildcat well, and he signed a lease contract.

At 1,115 feet they struck a huge oil reserve. The first well came in at 80,000 barrels a day. Many subsequent wells were more than twice as large. In fact, 30 years after the discovery, a government test of one of the wells showed it still had the potential flow of 125,000 barrels of oil a day.

And Mr. Yates owned it all. He had huge reserves just waiting for him to claim. The day he purchased the land he had received the oil and mineral rights. Yet, he’d been living on relief. A multimillionaire living in poverty.

I must make certain that I am aware and receive all of the riches that the Holy Spirit within me provides that I may be kingdom-rich and not be a multimillionaire living in poverty. I must discover that huge reserve of power that can be released through proper exposure to spiritual worship. A closer look at Isaiah 6:1-8 gives me a better understanding of what it means to experience personal access to the power of authentic worship led by the Holy Ghost.

I. One of the first things I noticed in v.1a is that Isaiah had one thing moved from his life that blocked his clarity with God for his spiritual access and worship with God.

II. I also notice in v.1b that when Isaiah entered the true worship zone he saw at least three (3) things about God that made his spiritual worship authentic.

III. According to vv.2,3 Isaiah saw angelic participants involved in worship with God. I can identify three (3) repeated words they used to describe God in their high moment of praise and worship.

IV. In v.4 I noticed two (2) moving things happened in this high moment of worship experience.

V. In v.5 I notice how Isaiah mentioned five (5) things that described himself as he accessed God during this high worship moment.

VI. In vv.6,7 Isaiah gives to me great spiritual clues of what should be the conclusions of my high moments of worship having been led by the Holy Spirit. At least two (2) things are listed as to what the results of my Holy Ghost led authentic worship should yield to me personally.

VII.         I can list the five (5) words that Isaiah used in v.8 that speaks of how the Holy Spirit is making me ready to serve God after a spirit led worship.

VIII.    My Power Reading: Exodus 3:1-22; Ezekiel 37:1-14; Acts 1:1-14; Acts 6:1-8
