BETAwards2013

Janelle Monae looked classically beautiful in a white Dolce & Gabbana suit. She took the ensemble to the next level with a Katerina Maxine choker that she wore over a high collared white blouse. Her final touches of sparkle were a combination of a Norman Silverman cuff, earrings and a few rings. She finished her look with Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals, her signature pompadour hairstyle and a bold red lip.

Adrienne Bailon, host of the pre-show of the program, wore a red carpet worthy red Michael Costello gown. The dress featured a Greek inspired one-sleeved shoulder and high split. Adrienne struck quite a few poses that showed off her Roberto Cavalli heels that finished her look.

Justin Timberlake looked dapper in an all-black textured Tom Ford suit. He finished his look with a satin bow-tie and a pair of Christian Louboutin loafers.

Meagon-Good

Newlywed actress Meagan Good raised eyebrows on the red carpet in a gown reminiscent of JLo’s infamous plunging neckline Versace number. Meagan’s dress was a long sleeve curve hugging number that featured a ruched gathering of material from the naval to upper thigh. She made quite the statement with the deep sea diving neckline that went from shoulder to naval. I won’t say anything other than the award she presented was for Best Gospel Artist. Celebs know what category they are presenting prior to the event, correct? Beautiful dress, perfect fit, but clearly the wrong moment.

Pharrell-Williams

Skater boy Pharrell Williams cleaned up nicely in a Lanvin ensemble. The charcoal grey suit featured a fitted blazer that he wore over a black-and-white checkered shirt. He finished his look with a classic bow tie and a pair shades.

Yes, Miley. As Miley Cyrus made her was to the SiriusXM Studios in New York City to plug her new single ‘We Can’t Stop,’ she looked fabulous in an Emilio Pucci design. The design consisted of a silky blue tiger-embroidered bomber jacket. The billowy sleeves were attached with knots and she tailored the jacket to fit her Pilate fit stomach. She paired the jacket with a blue skirt made from layers of silk that featured buttons that ran down the sides. She stomped down the street in white Celine pumps and slick hairdo. Her gold accessories were on point as always but I would have preferred a shorter nail on her.
