Happy Birthday at Club Faces
Club Faces was the scene Thursday night as Third Ward girl Cindy Tyler blew out the candles on her delicious birthday cake surrounded by friends and family. I had no idea how nice the club life on Almeda had become. WOW. Cindy dazzled everyone in a Betsey Johnson couture black ruffled dress, with the aroma of Jo Malone’s signature fragrance, complete with Jimmy Choo black strappy sandals, accented by black silk flowers in her hair and a black channel clutch. Sounds fabulous, right? Of course, she’s my baby sister!
Spotted at the party were Erwin Portis, our former band director from Madison High, Minister Jeremiah, Kayler Williams, Butch Grant, Micheal Mitchell, Attorney Dee McKinney, Rozzy Shorter, Stephen Guidry, Kelvin Johnson, Melvin Preston, Cedric Rodgers, Gaylon Davenport, Kim Mack, Carolyn Scott Brown, Patricia Brandon, Yolanda Daggs, John Babineaux, Fred Wagner, Sheila Graves, Ralph Chaison, Jr., and yours truly, to name a few. We danced and partied in the club and out on the patio as well. Guests chomped down on shrimp pasta, chicken wings, meatballs, fruit salad, and I won’t talk about the almost fight we were gonna have with the caterer. Finishing with a wonderful Strawberry Amaretto filled double layer cake, topped off with a Italian creme icing complete with iced sugar crystals on top, yum-yum!

Attention everyone within the sound of my voice. If I come to you and ask for a sponsorship for an ad, (minimum $30.00), or ask you to buy a 1 year subscription to the paper, ($30.00), and you politely tell me no, or fluff me off, then please, don’t call me and ask me to attend your event; and take your pictures so that you can appear in my society column? Are you serious? I don’t take kindly to users and trust me, I am not that impressed with you. Love and Kisses.
Until Next Time,
